ReplyDeck is a Chrome extension that helps you reply faster on WhatsApp Web, Messenger, Instagram, and Telegram by saving, organizing, and inserting your own quick replies. This page explains exactly what data ReplyDeck touches, where it lives, and what it's used for.
What's stored locally in Chrome
Your saved replies, category labels, and favorite emojis are stored locally on your device using Chrome's extension storage (chrome.storage.local). They are not synced to any ReplyDeck server. The extension also stores an account session token locally, used only to identify your signed-in session with the ReplyDeck backend.
Account authentication
Signing in to ReplyDeck uses Google sign-in via Neon Auth to verify your identity. ReplyDeck never sees or stores your Google password. Your account email, trial status, and Pro entitlement are handled and stored by the ReplyDeck backend, tied to your authenticated account — never inferred from local data alone.
Payments
Pro Lifetime purchases are processed by Stripe. ReplyDeck does not collect, see, or store your card details — Stripe handles payment data directly, and ReplyDeck only receives confirmation that a purchase was completed.
What content scripts do
On supported chat platforms, ReplyDeck's content script does exactly one thing: it locates the chat composer so it can insert a reply you explicitly clicked. Nothing is ever sent automatically — you always review and send the message yourself.
What ReplyDeck does not do
- ReplyDeck does not read, store, or transmit the contents of your conversations.
- ReplyDeck does not read or track your browsing history.
- ReplyDeck does not sell user data or use it for advertising, in any form.
Export and import
The Export Setup and Import Setup features read and write a backup file (your replies, category labels, and favorite emojis) directly on your device. That file is never uploaded to a ReplyDeck server — it goes exactly where you choose to save or open it.
How data is used
Every piece of data ReplyDeck touches — local storage, your account session, or backend entitlement records — exists solely to provide ReplyDeck's functionality: saving your replies, keeping your account signed in, and unlocking Pro after purchase. Nothing is repurposed beyond that.
Limited Use disclosure
ReplyDeck's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
